Most of all, he's a great man of God who will be sharing some insights about hearing a mysterious voice (God's) and what to do about it. Rev. Grover Crosby will be joining us for SPLAT this week - come out to hear the message God has laid on his heart to share with us!

Vocal Group Rehearsal This Sunday!!

Join us @ SPLAT as we explore what Halloween's about, both the good and the bad,
and try to figure out where Christians should fit themselves in this context.

The rest of us, pray for those we have a burden for (remember what Jerven said?) and for those who are putting in so much time and effort to share the great news of our Awesome Saviour, Jesus Christ! | There's debate within Christian circles as to whether followers of Christ should participate in Hallowe'en events or not. Some say, "It's just harmless fun, and we're giving out things to make children happy - it can't be that bad!", while others see it as a time when the worst evils come out and pagans come to worship Satan.
Two extremes of course, and in between them is a huge middle. What are your thoughts on Hallowe'en?* Should Christians reject it or embrace it?*

This week Jerven Weekes will explore how Jesus' compassion brought him into friendship with Zaccheus, a little man who could have been lost in the mass of people - and was hated by them - but was singled out by Jesus and turned his life around.

On Monday, October 30th, Agape will be holding a dinner and dialogue. Join Pastor Ho-Ming in Room 14 of the Church for food, fun and ... man-ly talk.  After grub, we'll attend a dialogue by Dr. Philemon Choi, who is known globally for his passion and insight into youth ministry. Register at the KK (Konnecting Kiosk) so we can order food.

...for the first SPLAT choir practice! We'll be meeting in rm. 27/28 of the church from 2-4 p.m. Please EAT LUNCH FIRST!! And don't eat too much or you'll fall asleep on me! Anyone who's interested can come out, even if you're just using this time for your own vocal practicing. Come have fun with us!

Mine used to be Sailor Moon...  but that was just a phase... (in highschool.. *ahem*). But they aren't supposed to be a phase, otherwise they ain't that super! Dave Overholt, an awesome youth speaker (and one of my teachers!) will be sharing about his superhero - our superhero - at SNA (Saturday Night Alive) this year. Pray for those you'd like to invite, and take a step in faith to invite them! Pray also for those working hard to make this event a success for God's glory.
